The mission of the Academy is to prepare employees to effectively lead transformation in their organizations by broadening their knowledge of the complexities of healthcare in West Virginia and beyond.

“Unlike any other program, you are given the opportunity to work with other healthcare leaders throughout the state that come from a multitude of backgrounds and experiences,” Elmore said.

The WVHA Leadership Academy is a nine-month program that gives participants the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and participate in conferences and at hospital site visits across the state.
