Breast cancer topic of community program

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. – WVU Medicine Berkeley Medical Center and the WVU Health Sciences Center Eastern Campus will sponsor a community mini-medical school program in October on breast cancer titled "Early Detection is the Key."

The seminar will be held at 7 p.m. on Oct. 16 in the auditorium of the Health Sciences Center on the Berkeley Medical Center campus. Sanaz Soltani, M.D., hematologist/oncologist with the WVU Cancer Institute, will give an update on breast cancer including prevention, detection and treatment.

Registration for the mini-medical school program begins at 6:30 p.m. The mini-medical program is being offered free to the public as a community service of WVU Medicine and the WVU Health Sciences Center Eastern Campus.
