Dr. Husain provides outpatient stroke follow ups at the Stroke Clinic located at 3803 Emerson Avenue in Parkersburg. You may make an appointment by calling 304-865-5041.

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Parkersburg offers a Stroke Support Group on the second Thursday of every month from 3:00-4:00 pm. It is open to the community and all stroke survivors and caregivers are welcomed. Please call them at 304-420-1300 for more information.

Dr. Muhammad Rizwan Husain, MD

Stroke Medical Director, Neuro Hospitalist, Vascular Neurologist, Assistant Professor at WVU. He completed his Residency at University of Illinois at Chicago (2019) and completed his Fellowship at University of Pennsylvania (2020). Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Vascular Neurology and his clinical focus is Cerebrovascular Diseases. Has received A.B. Baker Teacher Recognition Award (2022) and The Melvin Wichter Award for Teaching Excellence (2019).

Dr. Satheesh Kumar Bokka, MD

Dr. Satheesh Kumar Bokka, MD, is also one of our Neuro Hospitalists and an Assistant Professor for WVU. He graduated from Rangaraya Medical College (2015). He completed his residency at University of Louisville in 2021. Dr. Bokka is American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology certified and focuses on sleep disorders and Stroke.
