Congratulations to seven physicians who graduated from the WVU Medicine Camden Clark Internal Medicine Residency Program during the 2018 Commencement Ceremony Friday, June 15, 2018. Certificates of Completion Awards were presented by Parkersburg native Jennifer Leavitt, D.O., Camden Clark’s Internal Medicine Residency Program Director to Graduates Brian Dyson, D.O., Megan Hawkins, D.O., Nicholas Hoffman, D.O., Kristopher Pfirman, D.O., Megan Plum, D.O., Rachel Risner, D.O., and Joseph Tasch, D.O.

Special awards were presented during the ceremony. Voted by CCMC employees, David Davis, D.O. was named Intern of the Year and Nicholas Franklin, D.O. was named Resident of the Year. Voted by the residents, Hospitalist of the Year was presented to Dr. Roselyne Knopf and Specialist of the Year was presented to Dr. Abiy Kelil. Additionally, Dr. Michael Cheshire was presented the Specialty Outstanding Preceptor Award by Dr. Marla Haller, Regional Assistant Dean and Joan Gates, WV School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM) Statewide Campus Director. Established July 1, 2009 in affiliation with WVSOM, 43 osteopathic physicians have graduated from the Camden Clark program.
