Infusion and Outpatient Nursing Services


WVU Medicine Braxton County Memorial Hospital’s Infusion and Outpatient Nursing Services Department offers cost-effective and convenient care for those who require frequent services and want to be treated locally without the need for inpatient hospital admission.

When treatments that require frequent visits are prescribed, our caring, professional, and highly experienced nurses make that process as comfortable and painless as possible.

The Infusion and Outpatient Nursing Services Department also offers a variety of infusions and injections, as well as antibiotic therapy.

Available antibiotic therapy includes:

A physician’s order and appointment are required prior to the procedure. Prescribing providers should call or fax the patient’s order to the Infusion and Outpatient Nursing Services Department after prior authorization has been completed. Patients will not be scheduled without required authorizations.

WVU Medicine providers should place the patient’s order through the EPIC system.
