Requirements: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Clinical Informatics Specialist

Supports physicians, clinicians, healthcare workers, affiliates and partners by providing continuous support, troubleshooting and identification of opportunities for clinical information system improvements. Promotes future and present system functionality by designing, testing, communicating and training the clinical information systems.

Requirements: Must possess strong customer service skills. Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Outpatient Coder

Medical Record Outpatient Coder is responsible for the coding of all Emergency Room and Outpatient Ancillary visit records to ensure proper billing and third party reimbursement.

Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent and knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy are required. Must have a working knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding schemes and guidelines. Working knowledge of the 3M Encoder application is preferred. Knowledge of LCD’s, NCD’s, OCE and NCCI edits highly desirable. Familiarity with HCPC’s coding, Medicare, Medicaid and other 3rd party billing practices a plus. COC or RHIT certification (or eligible) preferred.

Inpatient Coder

Hours: Monday – Friday (flexible)

The Medical Record Inpatient Coder is responsible for the coding of all Inpatient stays, Infusions and Outpatient Surgery records to ensure proper billing and third party reimbursement.

Requirements: Applicants must have high school diploma or equivalent and should be RHIT or CCS certified, or eligible. Previous inpatient coding experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred. Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines preferred along with knowledge of APC’s, MS-DRGs. and PPS preferred.

CRNA For Barnesville/Harrison Hospitals
Full-time

Provides anesthetic care for all types of patients and procedures in cooperation with the supervising or medically directing physician, and in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Provides pre-anesthetic preparation and evaluation, post anesthesia care, and post anesthetic clinical support functions.

Requirements: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. Certification from the AANA Council of Nurse Anesthetists. Previous CRNA experience is required.

Diagnostic Imaging Technologist

The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist performs all examinations and performs all tasks relevant to the Diagnostic Imaging Department.

Requirements: Applicant must be a graduate of Radiological Sciences, have a current Ohio license and be ARRT registered, or eligible. Clinical experience desired in Fluoro, CR/DR, Carm and portable equipment. Must have knowledge of radiological and medical terminology. Emergency Department Paramedic

The Licensed EMT-Paramedic provides technical basic care for patients within the Emergency Department, in support of medical care as directed by medical staff. They will follow the objectives and policies of the hospital. They are responsible for delegated care for all patients assigned to him/her by the Nurse Manager and/or Charge Nurse according to their scope of practice.

Responsibilities:
To assist in directing patient flow, transport patients, and set up and assist with procedures as directed. Will perform point of care testing, wound cultures, EKG’s and application of splints. Will insert and discontinue IV catheters in adults and pediatric populations. Clean and stock rooms. Will collect and convey information to RN and physician regarding the health status of patients throughout the visit. Will perform specialized work initiating emergency or appropriate care under the supervision of the ED RN. Perform other job related duties within the scope of practice approved by State of Ohio and Barnesville Hospital Emergency Department Medical Director.

Performs preventive maintenance on equipment. Performs assigned grounds maintenance as needed. Performs project-related tasks and other duties within the department as assigned. Participates in the department’s continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.

Requirements: Must be able to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions. Must have a valid driver’s license. Must be able to clean all areas of the hospital according to objectives, policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe environment and will participate in performance improvement. The Supervisor is responsible for directing, supervision, and communicating the activities of nursing personnel, nursing units, and the entire hospital for the time assigned to maintain continuity for around-the-clock delivery of patient care. The Supervisor assumes responsibility for the general well-being and functioning of the hospital in the absence of Administration and Department Managers.

Requirements: Must have Ohio RN license. BSN or 2 years nursing management/supervisor experience preferred. ACLS certification required. Laboratory MT, MLT, or Lab Tech

Will work under the general supervision of the Laboratory Manager and is expected to work in all departments of the clinical laboratory performing specimen collection as well as clinical testing.

Requirements: Graduate of MT or MLT program with ASCP certification or equivalent, and the ability to function well on an individual basis. Must have experience working in all departments of a clinical laboratory, basic computer knowledge, have phlebotomy experience and a good rapport with the public. Polysomnography Technician

The sleep technician works under the supervision of the Medical Director for the evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders with both in-lab and home sleep testing. The technician performs both diagnostic and therapeutic interventions along with delivering patient care and education.

Requirements: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) and/or a Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS); and/or graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program with current Ohio license and willingness to obtain RPSGT or SDS. Responsible for correct registration of patients into the hospital system, distribution of appropriate forms and notices, checking medical necessity criteria and authorizations for services. Scans patient information into system, mans switchboard, and Central Scheduling duties as applicable.

Skilled Maintenance

Hours: Day shift and on call every 3rd week

Requires the ability to perform skilled work in the maintenance and repair of systems and equipment. The employee will be responsible for the performance of a variety of miscellaneous mechanical repair work of a skilled nature.
This work requires the knowledge to use hand and power tools effectively and safely, the knowledge to use a computer, the ability to schedule work, to follow up on maintenance work, and order parts and equipment. This position includes on-call rotation.

Requirements: Must be a high school graduate, or equivalent. Requirements: Must be a graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program with a current Ohio License and BLS certification. Must have the ability to work as a team member and on an individual basis. Must be able to demonstrate competence in all areas of respiratory care in order to provide respiratory therapy to acute and critically ill patients. Prefer 1 year experience and ACLS certification.
