Amenities
We hope to make your visit as comfortable as possible. For your convenience, we offer the following amenities on campus for patients, family members, and visitors:
Cafeteria
The Barnesville Hospital cafeteria serves visitors and patients a blend of home-cooked foods and ready-prepared heat and serve items that are characteristic of the local area. The cafeteria is open daily from 7:30 to 10 am, 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, and 4:30 to 5:30 pm. A snack bar is open 24 hours a day, and offers a variety of beverages, snacks, and sandwiches, hot or cold.
Because many patients are on special diets, visitors should check with the nurse on duty before bringing food or drink to patients.
Chapel
The chapel at Barnesville Hospital provides a peaceful and relaxing environment where visitors can reflect, meditate, or pray. Located across from the main hospital entrance, visitors and patients of any or no faith tradition are welcome. The space is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Chaplains are available for patients and family members upon request.
E-cards
E-cards can be sent to family members and friends who are hospitalized at Barnesville Hospital. Visit the e-cards website to select a card and make a submission. E-cards are printed and delivered once a day, Monday through Friday at 9:30 am. Card delivery cannot be guaranteed for the following day. Requests sent late Friday or on weekends/holidays will be delivered the following business day. If a patient has been discharged before delivery, the message will not be forwarded.
