Robotic Whipple Surgery for Pancreatic Cancer

WVU Cancer Institute surgeon Carl Schmidt, MD, explains how better results are being seen through use of robotic surgery in treating pancreatic cancer. WVU Medicine’s J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital is the first in the state and one of few hospitals in the country to offer the Whipple and other pancreas procedures robotically.
