Cardiac Rehabilitation

The Cardiac Rehabilitation Department at Wetzel County Hospital works to help you resume your normal lifestyle as soon as possible following a heart problem. Cardiac rehabilitation is an integral part of the care offered to patients who have had a heart attack, bypass surgery, valve replacement, heart transplant, angina, or angioplasty.

We provide inpatient and outpatient services for adult and geriatric patients requiring cardiac rehabilitation, cardiac education, and stress testing. Our team uses an individualized approach to patient care, and your rehabilitation plan is customized to your needs. Your rehabilitation program may include a combination of exercise, education on heart healthy living, stress reduction techniques, and more.

Our department is staffed by cardiac rehabilitation nurses who are certified in the treatment of life-threatening cardiovascular conditions.
