Biography

Michelle has owned and operated a rehabilitation and fitness center for 17 years and holds a 4th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. She has 20+ years experience teaching martial arts, aerobics, step aerobics, pilates, boot camp, kickboxing aerobics, spin, personal training, step-spin, and self-defense classes.

She holds a Master of Science degree in Nursing and a Doctor of Nursing Practice and also serves as an Assistant Professor teaching in the WVU School of Nursing.

Biography

Kristin is a certified yoga instructor and a doctor of physical therapy. She has been practicing yoga for over a decade and her physical therapy practice is always influenced by yoga. Kristin utilizes the ancient poses and breathing patterns of yoga to treat the patients she sees in the clinic as a physical therapist. She finally decided to pursue a yoga teacher training program through Suncrest Yoga in Morgantown, WV in 2017 to further enhance her knowledge and understanding. She believes in the power of purposeful movement and breath to heal the body and mind.

Biography

Colleen is a certified health coach, wellness professional and yoga teacher who is passionate about helping people live healthy, vibrant, authentic lives. She started teaching yoga in 1994 and has studied with numerous esteemed national and international teachers and completed training in trauma sensitive yoga. Colleen weaves together her understanding of yoga, mindfulness and whole person wellbeing to give clients practical tools to fully optimize health, vitality, and connection.  She is an experienced registered yoga teacher and continuing education provider with Yoga Alliance, a certified Wellness Inventory coach with WellPeople, and a National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach as recognized by the National Board of Medical Examiners.

Biography

Elizabeth Halliday-Reynolds is the founder of BlissBlissBliss a full service wellness center in Morgantown, West Virginia. Building thriving communities through wellness and supporting individuals by providing access to as many healing modalities as possible in one place is what BlissBlissBliss is all about. BlissBlissBliss is a grounding space that offers many forms of bodywork including massage, aromatherapy, energy work, yoga. Workshops on crystal healing, Reiki certifications and a thriving yoga teacher training program round out the programs.

Elizabeth started her business life out with a masters degree in Library & Information Science and worked in the high tech industry for a decade. When she came up for air, she made a radical shift to become a licensed massage therapist, Aromatherapist, yoga teacher, Reiki Master and certified ayurvedic life style consultant.

Nicole Gauthier-Schatz

Biography

Nicole Gauthier-Schatz has been teaching in the Morgantown community and surrounding areas for 27 years.

Nicole holds certifications as a Stress Management Specialist, Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga Instructor, Holistic Lifestyle Teacher and Yoga Therapist. Nicole is also the co-creator of the Mindful Steps to Stress Less Program.

Nicole seeks to create a safe, non-dogmatic educational environment, where the student is immersed in the process of self-discovery and inner exploration to become a more integrated human. In a safe refuge, students can turn their inner attentiveness to feelings, sensations, and activity of the mind. Students can then experience more freedom and vitality, and connect the practice to their daily life. The practice leads to increased awareness, mental clarity, and emotional wellness, as well as generating strength and suppleness for a healthier, more vibrant and limber body.

Biography

James is a certified exercise physiologist and personal trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine and will be working with the Wellness Center as a graduate assistant while pursuing a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology at West Virginia University. Originally from Columbus, Indiana, James received his B.S. in Exercise Science from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. James will also be in Dr. Paul Chantler’s research lab working with human and animal subjects, as well as vascular function in the Human Performance Lab. Upon completion of his Master’s degree, James plans to get his doctorate degree in Exercise Physiology. In his free time, James enjoys outdoor activities, exercise, cooking, and the TV show “The Office”.
