Extended Care Facility
When longer-term care becomes necessary, you’ll feel right at home with our staff of professional and attentive caregivers. Our extended care facility is staffed to care for residents 24 hours a day, seven days a week, supported by the full capabilities and facilities of Summersville Regional Medical Center hospital services.
Our residents often come to us for care because we are a part of the hospital, and physician services are only steps away. We provide care for 52 residents covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and some private insurance providers.
Nursing and support care is provided by our registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants, activity professionals, and social workers. We offer a range of rehabilitation services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and respiratory therapy. A visiting dentist, optometrist, and audiologist also provide care, as well as physicians who specialize in orthopedics, urology, podiatry, cardiology, and general surgery.
When it is time for you or your family member to receive skilled or long-term care, we want to be your care provider. As your neighbors, doctors, and friends, we will be honored to care for you and become part of your family.
