General Obstetrics and Gynecology
WVU Medicine’s General Obstetrics and Gynecology doctors provide comprehensive services to women of all ages in our region. We are committed to excellence in preventing and/or managing routine obstetrical care, treatment for gynecologic disorders, and preventive health maintenance.
WVU’s obstetricians/gynecologists and certified nurse midwives are women’s health specialists. Our patients benefit from the latest innovative advances in obstetric and gynecologic care.
In addition to services provided at the WVU Physician Office Center, we also have obstetricians, gynecologists, and nurse midwives who see patients at our Cheat Lake Physicians or Bridgeport offices. From your daughter’s first visit through family planning, pregnancy, childbirth, and more, we specialize in meeting women’s total healthcare needs.
For women who are post-menopausal, have had a hysterectomy, and have thickened or thin skin on the vulva the MonaLisa Touch® may be an option. The MonaLisa Touch® is an innovative laser procedure for women suffering from changes to their gynecological health due to declining estrogen and vulvar dystrophy.
