JOB TITLE: EDUCATOR
DEPARTMENT: NURSING ADMINISTRATION
REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF NURSING
FLSA STATUS: EXEMPT

 

POSITION SUMMARY:   Primary responsibility for assessing, designing, developing and evaluating leadership development programs, training programs, and assigned special training projects including, but no limited to:

a)     Emerging Leader Development, other managerial training and development programs

b)     Support services and programs

c)     Departmental orientation tools

d)     Front-line and other employee training

Consults to all levels of work groups to improve performance and effectiveness, including the design and execution of department performance and team interventions. Provides collaborative support to Education in CEOD.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1.  Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
2.  DiSC preferred or ability to acquire expertise within six (6) months of hire.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1.  Masters in Leadership Development, Training and/or Organization Development or other relevant discipline.

EXPERIENCE:
1.  Two (2) years’ Training and Organization Development experience preferred.
2.  Relevant experience may apply.
