WVU School of Dentistry hosting “Destination Dentistry” on April 14

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – College students interested in attending the West Virginia University School of Dentistry can attend “Destination Dentistry” on April 14 at the WVU Health Sciences Center.

The interactive program will offer prospective dental students information about application and admission procedures, various aspects of clinical dentistry, dentistry’s vital link to overall health and quality of life, the dental curriculum and educational debt management.

Those who attend the program will have the opportunity to interact with dental faculty and students, view lab demonstrations, participate in hands-on activities, and become more aware of education opportunities in the School of Dentistry.

“The one-day program is chock-full of informative sessions designed to help West Virginia college students chart their pathway to dental school. This free program is also open to pre-health advisors,” Shelia S. Price, D.D.S., Ed.D., associate dean for dental admissions, recruitment and access, said.

Sign in will be from 8:30 to 9 a.m., and the program will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Lunch will be provided.
