Welcome to the 23rd Annual Walk 100 Miles in 100 Days® program! We are glad you decided to join us this year! Whether this is your 1st year participating or your 23rd, we’re sure that this will be a challenging and enjoyable experience for you.

The goal of Walk 100 Miles in 100 Days® is to get you excited about exercise and to walk at least 1 mile (about 2000 steps) every day for the next 100 days. Walking is a great form of exercise that is easy to do and can be done almost anywhere.

GET STARTED:
Now that you have signed up for “Walk 100 Miles in 100 Days®”, it’s time to start walking. To begin, find a route that you will enjoy, one that is safe and convenient. If your route is outdoors, be sure to find another for cold and rainy days. Twenty minutes of any activity that is strenuous enough to raise your heart rate to your target zone is equivalent to 1 mile. For a refreshing alternative activity, use a step machine, a bicycle, or join an aerobics class. Whatever you do, remember to record it! Your weekly mileage is due to your team captain by Wednesday of each week (Week #1 miles are due 4/26/17).

New this year: participants can track and record an unlimited amount of miles completed each week without a cap! Participants can use an Individual Mileage Form to record their miles and submit to their team captain.
