Construction to begin in front of Ruby Memorial Hospital

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – As part of the upcoming expansion of WVU Hospitals, construction will begin on the new drop-off driveway and canopy in front of Ruby Memorial Hospital on Monday, March 25.

The first phase of the expansion will require the closing of the entrance sidewalks directly in front of the hospital grounds. A fence will surround the landscaped area in front of the hospital to contain construction activities.

Patients and visitors can access the East Lobby entrance by following the sidewalks closest to the Physician Office Center and Rosenbaum Family House. The drive-way under the canopy will remain open for drop offs and pick ups.

The construction of the new canopy is expected to take four and a half months to complete. For the latest information about the hospital's expansion, visit http://wvuhealthcare.com/wvuh/Content/Ruby-Memorial-Hospital-Expansion/WVU-Hospitals-Expansion-Latest-Updates
