Chestnut Ridge Center launches mental health support group

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Chestnut Ridge Center at WVU Healthcare will hold a weekly support group for individuals who live with chronic mental health issues and their caretakers.

The New Foundations support group will be conducted by the Assertive Community Treatment Program. Through discussion and education, the group will explore coping and stress management skills and will share their own knowledge and experiences.

The group will meet from 6 to 7 p.m. each Wednesday beginning on Feb. 15 in the faculty dining room at Chestnut Ridge Center. There is no cost to participate in the group. Space is limited, and reservations are required.
