The class donated $750 to the Hospital’s chemotherapy suite to be used to purchase mini iPads for patients’ use while receiving treatment. Some the classmates and/or their family members have experienced the effect that cancer can take and felt they wanted to assist other patients in that situation.

“We are very grateful for the class’ efforts in raising this money,” Lisa Wharton, vice president of public relations, marketing, and foundation for the hospital, said. “It will definitely help to enhance our patients’ experience here during what can be a difficult time.”
