General Surgeon Dr. Rittenhouse-Puhak Returns to WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital
Uniontown, PA — WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital is excited to welcome Jennifer Rittenhouse-Puhak, MD, FACS, back to their surgical team.
Rittenhouse-Puhak worked at Uniontown Hospital from 2016 to 2022 before transferring to the Allegheny Health Network. Now back at Uniontown Hospital as a general surgeon, Rittenhouse-Puhak specializes in intraabdominal, hernia, skin/soft tissue, and breast surgery as well as colonoscopy screenings. Starting in 2025, she will also begin providing robotic hernia repair.
“I’m honored to return to WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital to help provide excellent care in my local community,” Rittenhouse-Puhak said about her return.
Rittenhouse-Puhak received her Doctor of Medicine from Temple University in Philadelphia in 2010 and holds memberships with numerous medical organizations including the American College of Surgeons, the American Society of Breast Surgeons, and the Association of Women Surgeons. While previously at Uniontown Hospital, Rittenhouse-Puhak was part of the Patient Safety Committee and the Medical/Pathology/Surgical Oversight Committee.
