The hospital can be a scary or stressful place for anyone, and your child’s stay at the hospital can be difficult for the whole family. We provide Spiritual Care resources to help support you.

A chaplain is available around the clock to provide emotional, relational, and spiritual support to all patients and their families. Chaplains can help you and your family make sense of illness and injury in light of your own personal values and/or faith traditions. A chaplain can be a comforting presence in times of crisis and uncertainty. If at any time you would like to talk or pray with a chaplain, please have your nurse page Spiritual Care.

Ruby Memorial Hospital hosts a Prayer and Meditation Room on the first floor, near the northeast elevators. Persons of all faith traditions are welcome to use this space. A Christian worship service is held at this location 11:45 am on Sundays.

Each patient room with cable access allows patients and families access to the C.A.R.E. ® Channel. This commercial-free TV channel (77) provides a continuous stream of landscapes set to soothing music.
