Financial Assistance

As a not-for-profit health care organization, Camden Clark Medical Center (CCMC) cares about the patients and community we serve.  CCMC wants to help patients who do not have health insurance or who need assistance paying their hospital bills.   Your financial circumstances will not affect your care.
We have staff that can help you apply for Medicaid assistance or determine if you qualify for financial assistance from CCMC.

Patients who meet certain income and asset guidelines may qualify for financial assistance through CCMC.   Our Financial Assistance Policy applies to Camden Clark Medical Center, Camden Clark Physician Corporation (CCPC) and our inpatient Hospitalists employed by CCPC.

Those not covered by this policy include: Emergency Department Physicians, Radiologists, Pathologists, Anesthesiologist, Psychiatrist, Psychologists, and Non CCPC Physicians.

APPLYING FOR FINANACIAL ASSISTANCE

You may apply for Financial Assistance before, during or after your care.  Applications are available upon request at CCMC, on our website and in registration areas.  The application requires proof of income such as recent check stubs W-2, other forms of income, bank statements and we may request verification of monthly expenses.  Documentation needs to be provided within 30 days of request. Patient Account Representative will happy to assist you with your application.

MEDICAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

CCMC will provide emergency medical care to all patients seeking such care, regardless of their ability to pay or to qualify for financial assistance, in accordance with the Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act (EMTALA).

Financial assistance is available for emergency and medically necessary services.  It does not apply to elective procedures such as cosmetic surgery.  It also does not apply to the portion of your services that have been paid by a third party such as an insurance company or government program.
