WVU Medicine CCMC Hosts Senior Health Expo May 22-Best Value on Lab Work, Screenings and More

More than 50 vendors participating in event

WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center (CCMC) will be hosting a Senior Health Expo Tuesday, May 22 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Grand Pointe Conference Center. This event will offer all Mid-Ohio Valley residents the area’s best value on lab work and health screenings as well as information and demonstrations from over 50 health-related vendors and CCMC service lines.

According to Joyce Hubner, CCMC Lifetime Partners Program Manager, this event provides the best value on lab work in the Mid-Ohio Valley.

“We want everyone to be able to live a healthy, productive life. That’s why we are offering this event to help them get the best possible low price on blood work, health screenings and be educated about the many services available to them through us and the vendors who’ll be with us that day,” Hubner said. “WVU Medicine Camden Clark is bringing everything you need to be your healthiest self under one roof at Grand Pointe, and people of all ages are invited and welcome to attend.”

A 12-hour fast is required for most blood tests. Lab screenings include the following list:

  • Multi-phasic - $25 (includes CBC, CMP and lipid profile)

  • Cholesterol Profile - $10 (HDL, LDL, triglycerides)

  • PSA - $5 (prostate cancer screening)

  • Hemoglobin A1c - $5 (diabetic maintenance screening)

  • Thyroid Function - $5

  • Glucose Check - $3

  • Bone Density Foot Scan for Osteoporosis - $5
     

**FREE Health Screenings include:

  • Blood Pressure

  • Stroke

  • Balance (by First Settlement Physical Therapy)

  • Diabetic Foot Exams
