Family medicine providers
WVU Medicine Family Medicine providers care for patients of all ages (infants, children, adults, and seniors). They perform minor procedures, offer obstetrics care, and work with other WVU Medicine specialists in order to provide the best care for you and your family.
Our services range from health screenings to physical exams and vaccinations to management of chronic conditions, such as diabetes and high blood pressure. Many of our clinics and providers offer same-day appointments.
Internal medicine providers
WVU Medicine Internal Medicine provides comprehensive primary care for adults and seniors, with a focus on diseases affecting the heart, blood, kidneys, and joints, as well as the digestive, respiratory, and vascular systems. Our board-certified internal medicine physicians diagnose common or complex issues, and can help you manage any chronic conditions you’re experiencing.
General internal medicine services range from health screenings, physical exams, and vaccinations to disease management of diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, and more. We will help coordinate your medical needs and refer you to specialists when needed.
Pediatricians
WVU Medicine Children’s pediatricians are specially trained to care for children from infancy to young adulthood. We’re here for all the typical problems that accompany a child’s growth and development, providing routine care for all common pediatric illnesses.
While our primary emphasis is on preventive care, we are also well-equipped to handle complex pediatric conditions. We collaborate with patients’ specialists from WVU Medicine Children’s to make sure your child receives the best possible care.
